    Restricted extras 11.04

Only been using KDE for a week or two (but have used Ubuntu for about two years), but I'm having a problem loading the restricted extras on my fresh install of 11.04. I get this message when trying:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

I've got all the right ppa's ticked (I think) so what am I doing wrong or am I just being thick?

    Many thanks in advance

    Type
    sudo dpkg --configure -a
in konsole and hit enter. The warning you received tells you exactly what to do. I've received this error on numerous occasions myself and this always fixed the problem.

Edit: fixed code, should have included sudo. Thanks arochester
