dell inspirion 1545 [Solved]

I am going to be putting 11.04 64 bit on this pc for a friend of my wifes.

is there anything about Laptops i should know ?


or is it pretty smooth like the desktop install

I have 1 of those but it's the wifes box and is runing win-7 ......however my live USB runs just fine on it ..........if you have the broadcom wireless you will nead a wired connection until you can get the drivers through the additional drivers utility (witch dose show as available)

should go smoothly

thanx vinny it says it has the atheros chip set
it will be wired during install luckily for me this person wants to go the full kubuntu :-)
