ESC from full screen returns to login boxand killls wireless

Hi all:

I have a really wierd problem. I was watching a video on the internet at my TV provider. I use the ful screen mode to watch it. When I hit the ESC button, the computer went back to the login box. When I logged in again, the wireless was dead and the only way to get it back was to reboot the computer.

Any ideas as to why this happens?
