Trying to disable 5900/tcp open vnc

Hi guys. I'm new to your forums but not so new in linux. I'm trying to completely disable vnc daemon in kubuntu 11.04 with no luck. I portscanned localhost and I saw 5900 open. I'm trying to completely close it and disable the daemon but I can't. The port is not forwarded but I don't want it open locally.

I have unticked all the settings in the Desktop Sharing with no success. What I must do? Thanks in advance

Which vnc server did you install?
Do you see it running when you hit CTRL + ESC to open the System Activities monitor?
And if so can you then terminate or kill it and next uninstall it?
