    hidden network

At work I need to connect to a hidden WIFI network.

In kubuntu 10.04 I used to to this with the gnome network manager, so switching to 11.04 I was happy to see in the KDE Network applet that there is a box for hidden networks.
    It says

    Code:
"Enter network name and press <enter>
But nothing happens when I do this.
(I did configure the wifi connection in the connection manager beforehand)

Any one succeeded in conneting to a hidden network ?

    Re: hidden network

i have a similar issue. just installed 32bit Kubuntu 11.04 today.

went through the process of entering in all of the information for my invisible wireless network.

made sure that i have all available system updates, and my laptop DOES see other visible networks, so i'm sure the card itself is working properly.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

This thread could possibly be of help. I have not tested it myself.
