    Don't upgrade nvidia-current from xswat

I got error messages this morning when running upgrades. The nvidia-current driver from xswat ppa did not install correctly and upon reboot I had no desktop. Booted into recovery mode and removed the nvidia-current package, removed the xswat ppa repository and reinstalled nvidia-current now I have my desktop back. I am sure they will fix it quickly but if you have the xwat ppa repository enabled, you might want to wait a day or so before updating nvidia-current.

Additional information. Although I had my desktop back, I had no desktop effects, and I discovered that the nvidia driver did not load. Trying to install nvidia-current showed the error was that it could not proceed because an alternative link existed and it was unable to correct it. By running update-alternatives I was able to remove the offending link, then the install proceeded correctly, so I now have my desktop back with effects.
