I've being using Ubuntu for several years, now I've installed in a second disk in the same machine Kubuntu 11.04, I loved the desktop an there are many things very good, now I have two problems, I've the "02:01.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)" which is automatically used by Ubuntu without any problem, Kubuntu looks to use it too, but asks for the net password many times without connecting, I don't know what happen. the other point is the microphone, I've installed Skype all works Ok but not the microphone, I don't know how to make it work

Re: Hello friends problems with Wifi and Microphone
For the microphone, check if your computer runs the default Pulse Audio or the Alsa system for sound.
For the first there is a utility called pavucontrol, for the latter it's called alsamixergui, they will allow you to set up the needed channel.
Until 11.04 I always had to replace the Knetworkmanager with wicd.
Although the new 11.04 Kubuntu networkmanager works for me you might still be better off with wicd.

Solution
My problem with the WiFi connection was very simple, my password is totally numeric, and the system asks that two times one for 128 bits and hexadecimal, I always gave as for 128 bits and I don't know for what reason the system changed it for the hexadecimal, now I've corrected giving it for hexadecimal, and it got connected,
