    Noise (corruption) of display

It is hard to explain so I made video.

I didn't have this problem in Maverick with KDE 4.6.

Noise is most noticeable in krunner and when I start video in smplayer.

This happens with both opensorce ati and fglrx driver. I think it is related to new xserver in natty. Any thoughts about this problem are welcome

A strange noise, do you by any chance have a TV tuner installed?

I get that sometimes, but only on my ancient, old, slow, and crusty laptops, which only have the free ati driver and 8mb of ram available. My desktop does not see this using either driver. There may be an xorg tweak for that, but i cannot remember what it could be.

It happens with both, my desktop (ati card 512mb) and with my laptop (ati card 128mb). And with both, fglrx and opensource ati driver

It doesn't happen with Maverick KDE 4.6. Only in Natty.
