    Re: natty first impressions...

Two days ago I upgraded and so far Natty is working on my Toshiba Tecra S5 with nVidia Quadro 130M. Upgraded as in wiping the / but retaining /home.

I have enabled some extra repositories, the Mozilla Daily repositories, medibuntu, wine and the ubuntu-x-swat for more recent nVidia stuff.

Two small issues others also noticed are that the network manager needs intervention to reconnect after a (re)start and the greyed out buttons on Muon.

At least the network manager seems to work, this is the first time I did not (have to) replace it with WICD.

I replaced it anyway - it's gonna take a little time before I'll trust networkmanager again. The new KDE wicd client is kinda nice, though.
we see things not as they are, but as we are.

I only spent 8 hours on maverick, but I gotta say that natty seems much faster than lucid! I'm quite happy with it. 8)
