By clicking on the cashew and then on Activity, I get a window with Add Activity as a choice. If I then add an activity, the activity appears as "unnamed". How can I give it a name, either when I create it or later? And is there a way to change the type of an entire activity, not just the type of a particular window within the activity?

 Re: Naming an activity

if you are using kde 4.5, look here:
 http://userbase.kde.org/images.userb...-rename-45.gif

 more good bits:
 http://userbase.kde.org/Plasma/HowTo/4.5

if you use 4.6, in the activity bar thing that lists the activities each activity has a wrench icon where you can set the name and even the icon

Thanks for steering me there. I've been looking for something like that but couldn't find it among the many much sketchier descriptions of the KDE/Plasma environment.Originally posted by claydohmore good bits:

I'm still using 4.5.1 since that' what comes with a fully updated Maverick, but I guess 4.6 will be the default for Natty.if you use 4.6, in the activity bar thing that lists the activities each activity has a wrench icon where you can set the name and even the icon
