KDE hangs

Hello Guys!

I have the following problem :

Whenever I click on the KDE icon, the kickoff menu bar opens very slowly.

It also happens when I minimize a window!

Can someone help me?

what are the speck's on that box.......

open a terminal and run top and see if something is eating up the CPU
