The latest upgrade says that it is going to remove the newest version (that I know of) of YAWP. Does anyone know yet when this applet will be ready for 4.5.3 ?

you may need to file bug on it, I don't think it is an official part of KDE, so it isn't in the PPA for 4.5.3 - but I think it's dependencies could be fixed to allow the newer versions of the libweather-ion5 to be used
