initramfs-tools fails to process while installing... I don't remember what.

I think I finally installed the whole 'kubuntu-desktop' thing, and it's probably the plymouth themes that triggered it. Here's the error:

    Code:
    Setting up initramfs-tools (0.98.1ubuntu6) ...
    update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
    Processing triggers for initramfs-tools ...
    update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-24-generic

gzip: stdout: No space left on device
    E: mkinitramfs failure cpio 141 gzip 1
    update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-24-generic
    dpkg: error processing initramfs-tools (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
    Errors were encountered while processing:
     initramfs-tools
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I saw a post on Ubuntu forums that said to purge the various LVM utilities, but I happen to be using LVM in my setup (the / filesystem is a combination of two partitions on two different drives), so that DEFINITELY won't work.

Nevermind, I solved it by uninstalling some old kernel versions. I have my /boot partition separate from my installation, and it had filled up.
