[SOLVED] Changing a computer's name after installation

When I installed 10.10 (32-bit, FWIW) on one of my machines, I inadvertently named it wrong. How do I go about changing it to the correct name?

    Thanks.

Yep, that was it. I changed the name in /etc/hostname and restarted the machine. All is well now.

      Thanks for the help.

i know this is solved but you can also change the name untill reboot by using the hostname command
hostname <desired temp name>
