I use an internet adsl pppoe connection, I configured that connection (with provider given username and password) using the gui preferences window, but that connection is not displayed on the list, so it is not possible to use it.
I tried to use it by configuring it as "connect automatically", but it didn't work, the only part of the o.s. that recognized that connection is the gui preferences window.
I used the pppoeconf command and I could browse the internet, but now the list of connections is empty for all the cable connections, and that list is labeled as "No managed".
I want to configure that connection using the gui, not matter if I must install the whole the o.s. again.
Kubuntu 10.10 amd64 on compaq cq50 103-la.
