    XSWAT PPA - Maverick GONE!

Any one know what the deal is with the XSWAT and XEDGERS PPA for Maverick?

Had a notice of an update for nvidia to 295.x and was holding off to do it till I had time.

Went to do it to day, and it says "System up to date." UHH NO ITS NOT!

Go to the XSWAT/XEDGERS PPA and MAVERICK IS GONE! Goes from Lucid to Natty?

Whats the deal? Why skip Maverick?

K/Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" reached its End of Life (EOL) on April 10, 2012. Likely the PPA maintainers decided to stop supporting it as well, and removed the maverick packages.

      FOUND & SAVED! Enjoy....

Well since these are gone... ...

For those who need this, thanks to a little quick internet action...

I've recovered these and these are available for KMint and KUbunutu Maverick based releases:

      AMD64 Releases

      nvidia-current-dev_295.53-0ubuntu1
      http://fccdata.com/maverick_nvidia/n...xup1_amd64.deb

      nvidia-current-modaliases_295.53-0ubuntu1~maverick
      http://fccdata.com/maverick_nvidia/n...xup1_amd64.deb

      nvidia-current_295.53-0ubuntu1~maverick
      http://fccdata.com/maverick_nvidia/n...xup1_amd64.deb

      nvidia-settings_295.53-0ubuntu1~maverick
      http://fccdata.com/maverick_nvidia/n...xup1_amd64.deb

Also, is there a specific order these should be installed sans the devel one, I don't need it, and I never really paid attention to the order they get installed by the KMint updater and/or apt-get etc..

For those not on the upgrade carousel, this is it for the XSWAT PPA, your on your own from now on.

In general, I'd think that seeking to apply updates to an unsupported operating system runs the risk of placing the system into an unpredictable and untested state.
