Installing on archos 101 generation 9, confused

    Hi,

I'm trying this recipe to install kubuntu on my archos 101 gen 9: https://wiki.kubuntu.org/ARM/Archos101it

The part I don't get is "Mount the rootfs.img of the SDE from your data partition (that is the thing you can mount when doing the USB sharing dance with Android)", step 3.

I've got SDE on the thing, built an image but step 3 won't click in I can't seem to mount the rootfs of my device.

I do see two device files being created when I plug-in my device:

    [sdc] Attached SCSI removable disk
    [sdd] Attached SCSI removable disk

but I can't get any of those to mount.

    mount -o loop -t auto /dev/sdc /mnt/origfs says: /dev/sdc: No medium found.

    What am I missing?

Correction: -o loop is b*sh*t, -t shouldn't be neccessary as well.

Without them, I still get the 'no medium found' error
