My brother has a Lexmark Z1300 printer, and his inability to use it with Linux is one of the biggest things keeping him from switching full-time. I know Lexmark isn't planning to release any Linux drivers (at least for this model) and a few hours scouring the internet hasn't turned up anything.. but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here has any ideas. Is there maybe a way to use Windows or Mac drivers?

Check the printers manual for 'compatibility' with an HP model printer. Nearly all non-HP printers have compatibility with one or more HP printers. Try setting up the printer as one of those HP printers.Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Would your brother be willing to purchase a compatible printer, instead? My HP Deskjet D1455 has worked pretty well in Linux overall.

I'm aware of HP working well with Linux, but he'd rather use Windows than buy a new Printer :PComment
