    [Solved] plasmoid yawp crashes plasma-desktop

I've upgraded from Lucid Lynx and i have a problem with yawp plasmoid. When i search a city on configuration, then plasma-desktop crashes.

Anyone with this bug? Any solution?

    Thanks.

    "from Lucid Lynx"?
    Are you running Maverick now?

        Try reinstalling the following packages:
        plasma-widgets-workspace
        plasma-widget-yawp

I downloaded 10-07 daily build. YAWP settings distance, pressure, temperature, and speed are non-operational.

Re: [Solved] plasmoid yawp crashes plasma-desktop

Thanks for the help , but I don't know how to install it.

Command line installs are where I come to the end of my current skills pretty quickly. I can do several basic things, but command line installs of these widgets are not something I've been able to master yet. I get error code after error code and give up. I'll figure it out one day - just not yet.

Thus - for me - it's not solved.

Anybody find a .deb package of 3.5 anywhere? Any chance the repo can get this resolved anytime soon?

                    build-essential & cmake are installed.

latest version in the repos is 0.3.4 which does not work in maverick.

                    I got the latest cwp:
                    http://kde-look.org/content/show.php...?content=98925

and will wait for the yawp to reappear in the repos

Perhaps you need to install kdebase-workspace-dev
