Just installed Kubuntu 10.10 RC and now my internal speakers (Dell GX620) don't work. I see that pulse audio and alsa is installed; however, kmixer indicates that my audio is "Internal Audio Analog Stereo". Any ideas?

open a terminal and type alsamixer and hit enter.
tab thrugh the chanels and see if any are turned down or muted.

I did that. Everything is at 100%. Removed pulseaudio and at least now my Intel ICH7 shows up in the mixer/alsamixer.Comment
