The installer for 10.10 has not worked in the daily images for two weeks. At first it threw errors about partman, and there were already bugs reports made, and fixes supposed to be released. The installer in the daily image for the 28th won't even open. Starting ubiquity in a terminal just returns to the prompt. I'm sure the installer is still under development, but do the devs know this has been broken so long?

Re: Kubuntu installer foobar for last two weeks
Must be a Kubuntu-only issue. I've used the Ubuntu Daily from last weekend (26.9.), and the installer worked fine. Then installed kde-full on top of it, and everything runs fine. Using it right now.Shinda Sekai Sensen

Kubuntu Maverick RC x64 w/ Kde 4.5.2 (main)
Kubuntu 10.04 x64 w/ Kde 4.5.1to be wiped, no point in keeping it any longer

Re: Kubuntu installer foobar for last two weeks
That's what I wound up doing(kubuntu-desktop). The Ubuntu installer is fine. It seemed Kubuntu was trying to implement the new Ubuntu installer, then went back to the old one. That's when I started having trouble.Klaatu Barada Nikto
