Bluedevil

For bluetooth users, Bluedevil (the new kde bluetooth stack, and the replacement for kbluetooth) is available in the maverick repos.

Still rc, but seems to be working (based on my very limited testing)

    Re: Bluedevil

Very excited about this. I've always had to use blueman to set up my devices. I just installed bluedevil in openSUSE, and everything connected perfectly. Even my Motorola Razor connected!

We need to decide if we are shipping bluedevil or kbluetooth...

        Re: Bluedevil

Most of the Kubuntu-devs did agree a few days ago to ship Bluedevil by default.

Trying BlueDevil since yesterday in Lucid from Git, works very, very good with my Magic Mouse Waaaaay better than old kbluetooth.
Most important laptop specs (this is my main computer, with Kubuntu on it):

4096MB RAM (DDR2)
500GB Hard Disk
ATI Mobility Radeon 4570HD Videocard with 512MB GDDR3 RAM, up to 2280MB VRAM
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo-processor T6600

OS: Kubuntu 10.10
