    [Solved]Kernel 2.6.35-10-generic

The latest kernel doesn't like my video card (radeon 9250 pro) very much.

At boot in either mode I get a very busy screen with lots of noise and colored stripes.

    2.6.34-5-generic works fine

    Re: Kernel 2.6.35-10-generic

Here with the Maverick the Kernel 2.6.35-10-generic seems to work - knocking the wood . With the Lucid the same kernel has been crashing couple of times - the message was "severe kernel crash" or something after the reboot.

          Re: Kernel 2.6.35-10-generic

Mine is the Radeon 9250 Pro (RV280 ).

I guess the latest kernel doesn't like my chip

I'll have to investigate this a little further when I have the time.

Todays update and installing headers / image -13 fixed the issue (at least for now )
