Device status pop-ups

Does anyone know a way to disable the device status pop-ups? I'm getting them to tell me that I've sent a job to the printer, that the printer is printing, and that the printer has finished the job. Fair enough, for those who want the reassurance, but not something I want to see every time I print.

Program notifications can usually be tuned in SystemSettings>ApplicationAndSystemNotifications

Choose 'printer applet' from the dropdown to see the notification settings for the printer applet.
(I'd try to disable the popups for the "other" category to see if it removes the printing popups...of course it might also disable some other notifications...I don't use the printer applet so I don't really know what kind of notifications are included in the "other" category.)

EDIT: Just noticed that you're running 10.04, I hope the settings are available in your version (even if not by the exact names as above).
