GNUCash 2.4.8 - Build & Install

When I run the configure for GNUCash 2.4.8, it complains that it can't find gonf-2.0. I can't find a package with this name. Can anyone tell me which package I should be installing to get this?

No package 'gconf-2.0' found: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1305310 -> libgconf2-dev

Have you tried ?
