KFTPgrabber error - file or folder does not exist

    kde 4.4.5
    KFTPgrabber 0.8.99
    kubuntu 10.04.3 LTS

How do I access an FTP server outside of my home network?

Everytime I try to access an FTP site I get the same error message: file or folder does not exist

sample path: ftp://ftp.somesite.com to a public ftp server.

    do you have a router?
you may half to ford the port that FTP is using through the router to get a connection outside your LAN

Yes I have a router, But I fail to see why port forwarding applies. I'm not trying to set up a server. I'm just trying to use KFTPgrabber as a client. Therefore port forwarding shouldn't be an issue.
