Dragon player not working

Hi,
I have a Core2Duo 2.26GHz CPU board with Intel GS45 Chipset, I installed Kubuntu 10.04, also installed plug-ins for dragon player and all the updates.
The problem is when I start playing DVD video, the dragon player just kicks me off to login screen.
Is there anywhere I can find a log file for dragon player to find out why it kicks me off?
Please help me solve this issue.

Did you add the Medibuntu repository? After that is done, and you've updated the package cache (sudo apt-get update), follow the 6.1 and 7.1 instructions on that page. You should then be fine.
