Well seems that Ktorrrent is not working with new set of libsolidnkontrol4a. It wants version 4 not 4a. Any ideas?

Just installed KDE 4.5 (the final version), and it removed ktorrent, and now I can't install it. Here is what apt-get says when I try to install it:
Any ideas?Code:The following packages have unmet dependencies: ktorrent: Depends: libktorrent1 (>= 1.0.1) but it is not installable Depends: libktorrent-l10n but it is not installable E: Broken packages

Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
With KDE 4.5 you need Ktorrent package built with KDE 4.5, which is after a few hours also in Kubuntu Backports PPA. So try again.Originally posted by VistausUh, well actually, the error here is different:

libktorrent1 is missing in Kubuntu Backports PPA (probably forgotten by uploaders) , so enable Kubuntu Beta Backports PPA, where this package is still present.Originally posted by aqeelizJust installed KDE 4.5 (the final version), and it removed ktorrent, and now I can't install it. Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
It is only temporary workaround, after installing libktorrent1 is needed disable repository. Ktorrent and libktorrent packages are the same for both repositories.Originally posted by ilnaIs it well thought step - add beta just for one app and get less stable system?
Now it is reported https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/616063Kubuntu 12.04 64bit

Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
I have supposed such unmet deps are still not ready rather are fogotten. So, say, KDE itself has few fogotten deps (below), hasn't it?
Code:The following packages have unmet dependencies: kdebase-workspace-bin: Depends: kdebase-workspace-data (= 4:4.5.0b-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa1) but 4:4.5.0b-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa2 is to be installed. plasma-scriptengines: Depends: plasma-scriptengine-qedje (>= 4:4.5.0b-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa2) but 4:4.5.0b-0ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa1 is installed. Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
This is another problem, I suppose, probably you have amd64, but building of this packages failed, so they are now also missing in Kubuntu Backports PPA (https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/backports) and waiting to next build.Originally posted by ilnaI have supposed such unmet deps are still not ready rather are fogotten. Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
I had no problems with Ktorrent in 4.5 RC 1 and RC 2.
Just upgraded to 4.5 final however and got the following strange error:
It complains about not being able to overwrite some French (fr) status message - which is very odd, since I don't have support for French installedE: /var/cache/apt/archives/libktorrent1_1.0.2-2~ppa1_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/libktorrent.mo', which is also in package libktorrent-l10n 0
I now tried renaming the file (/usr/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/libktorrent.mo) so it wouldn't have trouble overwriting, but that didn't help - still got the very same error.Shinda Sekai Sensen<br /><br />Kubuntu Maverick RC x64 w/ Kde 4.5.2 (main)<br />Kubuntu 10.04 x64 w/ Kde 4.5.1to be wiped, no point in keeping it any longer

Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
Renaming not helping due comparing file list in packages. In Kubuntu Backports/ or Beta Backports are libktorrent splitted to two packages: libktorrent1 and libktorrent-l10n, the second package contains localization files for many languages. Your version of package libktorrent1 probably contains both in one, so you need first uninstall libktorrent-l10n.Originally posted by Yuri sssI had no problems with Ktorrent in 4.5 RC 1 and RC 2.

Re: Ktorrent deinstalled after upgrade to KDE 4.5 sc2
Ok, uninstalled libktorrent-l10n now. After that, I had no problem updating libktorrent1.Originally posted by PoborskiiiRenaming not helping due comparing file list in packages. However, when I try to reinstall libktorrent-l10n now after that update, I get this error:

Hmm, still the libsolidcontrol4 error. What can the problem be?
