Oh, I see.
You have a Bluetooth enabled wireless dongle. Turn it on, negotiate with Kubuntu Bluetooth app and create a wireless connection.
Except that KLL's Bluetooth doesn't see your PA3455u.

I discovered, perhaps, why your bluetooth system tray icon is gray. After an update a couple days ago I noticed that MY Bluetooth system tray icon was gray.
Checking the logs:
...
/etc/init.d/bluetooth stop
...
Trying
sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth start
and it turned blue again! I don't know why that solution never dawned on me...
