    KPPP Roadblock

    Hi

As I try to access the well-known Internet Dial-Up Tool (KPPP), I get the following message:

    Configuration file "/home/daisuke/.kde/share/config/kppprc" not writable.
    Please contact your system administrator.

Not really sure what that means... and I'd like to know to see what I can do.

    Thanks for the help.

Note: Some extra information --> KPPP sends me this error message afterwards: kppp can not create or read from /home/daisuke/.kde/share/apps/kppp/kppp.pid.
The cyber-world is a whole different world indeed.

Take a look at those files. They are likely owned by 'root' and not your user. If that is the case, change the ownership to your user.
