    Configuration file /home/myusername/... not writable

Sometimes, after I returned from a locked session, everything (Dolphin, Firefox, System Monitor,... everything AND I MEAN EVERYTHING) I tried to open returned a message "Configuration file /home/my_username/blah-blah-blah... not writable." All my downloads in Ktorrent would also show errors and not downloading anymore. I had to reboot to get things working normally again. This problem only started showing up about couple weeks ago.

Has anyone else gotten this problem?

I've not seen anything like it in a while. Is this a laptop?

This is a desktop. At first I thought it was file ownership/permission issue, but all the files involved still belong to me, not root.

I'm not familiar with this problem but it could be solved by issuing
        Code:
        mv ~/.kde ~/.kde-OLD
logging out and logging back in.

Hey, i've got the same problem. Normally it appears only once a day, but today it just happened a lot more. Although i do not lock my session. But i notice it when amarok stops playing tracks.

did you find out anything about this ? i've seen it on some other forums, but with no real answer.
