I've been having problems with the unpacking and installation of mount_2.17.2-0ubuntu1_i386.deb and I wonder why this could happen at all. Anyone has faced the same situation?

Would be helpful if you told us the problem you are having, i.e., what error messages are you getting?Windows no longer obstruct my view.

It's the same one from the official repos but at first it just keep hanging. Later I tried to install it from a root shell in recovery mode and nothing weird happened.
At least I don't have any issues with mounting drives and partitions
