I bought a used laptop, put in a bigger hard drive that previously had dual boot XP and Kubuntu 10.04. I downloaded 10.04.1 and installed it, telling it to use the whole disk. The install went fine and when I rebooted, it came up to a grub rescue screen.
I then used gparted, deleted all partitions and tried the install again. When I rebooted it gave a out of disk error and was at a grub prompt.
I tried installing 10.04 and it installed fine, then on reboot it gave a out of disk error.
What do I need to do?
It is a dell 6000 laptop.
