blur effect disapeared in kubuntu 10.04.1

It seems I can't find a way to activate the blur desktop-effect in Kubuntu 10.04.1. In Maverick it works: in systemsettings/desktop effects/all effects I found it. It is called "Blur" or in my language "Vervagen".Where can I find it in 10.04.1?
Or did they leave it out?

The effect was broken and removed in KDE 4.4, which was shipped with 10.04. It has since been re-introduced in KDE 4.5, however.

Thank you for your reply! I installed KDE 4.5 sc from the ppa (as explaned in www.kubuntu.org) and all is working great. And it looks beautiful and is pretty fast.
