    [SOLVED] Network problems

    Hey y'all
Just finished reinstalling Kubuntu 10.04. x64
So, first of all, the internet connection won't work. It's a wired connection; I got a static IP address.

    Hardware:
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (x64)
    4GB RAM DDR2
1 Maxtor 500GB HDD (can't remember the model) (got 1 ntfs partition left in there)
nvidia geforce 9800 gtx video card
    1 Asus DVD-RW optical drive.
Both the hdd and the optical drive are internal.

    Software:
Just Kubuntu 10.04 (the x64 version for now, with nothing else installed), downloaded from kubuntu.org

    Thanks,
    ElWray

    Re: Network problems

Again, please do include multiple issues in a single thread. You have three issues:

    Networking
PC not waking up from sleep
    Sound

You already have one 'multiple' post on this, which I also replied to concerning multiple issues. So, again, start three separate posts: one for your networking issue; one for your 'sleep' issue; and one for your sound issue.

I've modified this post to remove the second and 3rd issues. Please start two new posts for these.

The reason we ask that only single issues be address in a post is that it keeps things simple and easy to address.
