Strange Error but working

    Strange Error but working

    I just installed 10.04 and on my Acer Emachines 525, the wireless seems to be working (I can surf) but when i run the command ifconfig, I get the following

    Since i used to have (previous versions) a lot of problems with the wireless, I was already surprised to see it working so easily, but what does these errors mean in the wlan for TX and RX packets?

    Huh?
    It says #packets transmitted=3717, no of errors=0

      read this as 3717 packets and 0 errors.

        Yup. What you are seeing is normal for reporting on the number of packets transmitted and the number of errors on those transmissions. Having no transmission errors is a 'good' thing.
