Acer Aspire One AOD255E and Lucid

Installed Lucid 10.4.2 on a new Acer Aspire One AOD255E netbook.

Fit like a silk glove. EVERYTHING worked out of the box - 3D video, sound, wifi, webcam, skype...

      I'll say!
$300 +- $25, depending on where you buy it.

The model I got for my wife had more pixels in the webcam and a different wifi chip (IIRC) and some other "quality" differences (I bought it on sale for $348 on Black Friday and four days later it was back at its $498 price.

I switched out the 1GB of RAM with a 2GB RAM stick ($28) and bought a USB DVD burner ($40) and my wife's Acer really stands up and talks! 8) She's had it for nearly three months now and just loves it.

That makes TWO Acer One's that Lucid fits like a glove, on both ends of its price range.
