    Acer AO721-3574 compatibility ?

I am thinking of buying an Acer AO721-3574.

I have to send away for it and want to make sure that everything will work with 10.04 before I commit.

I have Googled it but have not found results for this model and k/ubuntu.

Concerns would be Video, wireless, sound and webcam support.

I expect it will be fine, but if anyone knows of any issues it would be great to hear about it....

You might want to take a look at THIS PAGE. I have no personal experience with the netbook edition but I would think it would work just as well for KDE as Gnome.

Also it wouldn't hurt to review/search the compatibility and incompatibility threads here: http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=332

        Hi...

If at all possible, I would recommend getting the maximum memory possible which would be 4 GB's for this model.

          My main concern would be:

Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 4225 (384MB dedicated memory)

Hope I can get HW acceleration working....

            Hi...

That's a good point and why I would recommend a model that comes with Nvidia.
