Cursor Disappears When Changing Screen Resolution

Just upgraded to Lucid Lynx. Only issue I've come across thus far is that, when I change my screen resolution, my cursor disappears. When I move the mouse around, buttons on the screen will dim as if the cursor is passing over them but I can't actually see the cursor.

Intel 845G video card. I assume I need to edit xorg.conf in some way but I don't know how exactly. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
