Can not edit window decorations emerald

Decided to give Lucid a try cause it looked like they needed beta testers. I have been using Windows seven a lot lately.

This beta seems pretty good. I guess they didn't include kwin kde qtcurve style but it installed fine and works good. Compiz is working fine after install. Emerald will display windows decorations and will install them but it crashes everytime I try to edit window decorations.

So far everything else seems fine even kdesudo dolphin working.

It's my understanding that Kwin has entirely replaced the need for Compriz/Emerald. Most (possibly all now? I haven't really checked in a long time) of the effects that were/are available in Compriz/Emerald are now options through Kwin directly.

It's possible that installing the Emerald package has caused some unexpected instability. Try removing the Emerald package, and see if Kwin on its own works (in System Settings -> Desktop).

If not, there could be another problem.
If so, it might be a good idea to issue a bug report since it is in the repository for Lucid, it is supposed to work.... but it is a beta after all
