Dolphin stopped working

Hi guyss, I'm not sure if this is where to post this but this is the only place I've seen 4.11 beta mentioned for quantal.
So 4.10.90 packages appeared after checking for updates and I updated (on a quantal laptop). Everything seems ok, except dolphin wont launch. I click on the icon, it twirls for a couple of seconds, then nothing. I deleted the previous rc file from the apps and config kde folders, but everytime I click on it it creates a new rc file in ~/.ke/share/config with the content :

Edit 20/07: It sems to have fixed itself after i forced an upgrade to raring, which went quite well. Had to delete a few rc files in ~/.kde but all good now. Some kde apps still seg 11 on quit though.

Still no packages for RC1 which came out one week ago. Any info on where's the hold-up?
There were packages for Beta 2, but no Raring packages for RC1 yet (no Sausage packages either).

Two days before RC2, there are saucy sausage packages for RC1. What a timely delivery!
Still nothing for Raring, though.

This is a bit odd since I tested the Quantal packages on a VM at Akademy and everything seemed to work fine. Can you check if it works for you in a Guest account?

Regarding RC2 packages, we're currently working on Saucy, then we will start backporting to Raring, Quantal and Precise. Though supporting 4 releases is a bit painful and takes time, I'm thinking of dropping Quantal if there's not much of a usecase for it.

I think your prorities should be Sausage and Raring only. Creating pre-release packages for older versions is pretty pointless. If they wanted bleeding-edge pre-release versions that much, they could update to Raring. Porting the final version to Quantal and Precise should be fully sufficient.

Current dev and last stable release are always the priority, everything else is optional due to limited man power, however we have to start somewhere and starting with the final release for Precise and Quantal is a bit too late IMHO. I usually run the automated script and make relevant adjustments to the script so that it becomes easier with every release to build for older versions. Helps us catch packaging issues early on so that we can fix them till the final release.
