[SOLVED] amarok still version 2.5 with backports ppa installed

The title says it all. I am using the kubuntu backports ppa. I got it primarily to see the new Amarok release, but Amarok is still at 2.5 instead of 2.6. I have done several updates, and a restart. Any ideas?

Is it possible that it simply hasn't been uploaded to the backports repo yet (even though it says it is)?

Looking at the two Kubuntu backport PPAs I'm aware of:

https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/beta/

I see that the standard backports PPA only has Amarok 2.5 (for Oneiric), and the beta backports PPA has 2.6-beta1 (for Precise), but neither of them has the final 2.6 release.

Looks like the website was a bit premature to announce that it's already in the PPA.
