Hi Everybody,

I am using Ubuntu Breezy. I have installed kubuntu-desktop
on this. I was using konqueror 3.4.3 to access the web page
www.indianrail.gov.in. While loading this page, konqueror
told me that the page uses shockwave, and if I wanted to
install the plugin. I clicked on the "No" button, and
konqueror immedately crashed. I tried again with the same
result.

Could you please confirm whether this is a bug with this
version of konqueror. I have tried with some shockwave
requiring sites, but this problem does not happen. Then
I found that this problem occurs with sites which
1. require shockwave plugin, AND
2. which open pop-ups to tell that (firefox effectively
blocks those pop-ups), AND
3. ONLY when the konqueror option "Open pop-ups in new tabs"
is active.

Regards,
Santanu

I couldn't reproduce the crash on version 3.5, this indicates that
1. There are some other settings that affect it besides the ones you mentoned
2. It was a bug and was fixed in 3.5
3. It's not a general bug and only affects your system (or some systems and setups)

Try upgrading to 3.5, if it still crashes you should report the bug

Has anyone else run into this (with 3.4.3 or 3.5)?
