[SOLVED] Meta stopped opening the Application menu

I've done something to my Kubuntu 18.04 and now the Meta aka Super key no longer launches the Application menu.

Other than that, Meta works just fine for all my custom shortcuts as well as for built-in shortcuts such as zoom (Meta++ to zoom in and Meta+- to zoom out).

I would appreciate help getting that function back. Thanks!

(I haven't installed Latte dock; I seem to remember doing so could cause a change in behavior of the Meta key.)

Not sure of kubuntu 18.04, but on my neon setting the menu shortcut to Alt+F1 (which I think is the default, but maybe you have changed it) will make the meta modifier key open/close the menu as well (I'm guessing KDE interprets the meta release as Alt+F1)

Thank you! That worked. Alt+F1 also wasn't working but then I set it through Application Menu Settings and now both Alt+F1 and Meta works as well.
