Digital clock widget, don't show events from Korganizer

    Hi,

Since Plasma 5.7.x digital clock can display events from Korganizer, but not in my case even though I have plasma 5.8.x from backports PPA.

If I remember well one had to install some additional packages to enable this feature but I don't remember which one.

    Thank you.

    qml-module-org-kde-kholidays

It a recommends of plasma-workspace since a while ago, so somehow you have managed to get it uninstalled.

qml-module-org-kde-kholidays is already installed, but that is for holidays only not for general use with any events form Korganizer.

I'm talking about "Pim Events Plugin" in digital clock widget (see the image bellow):

        Apologies. Misread that.

16.04 backports PPA currently has apps 16.04, while that plasma plugin was introduced apps kde-pimaddons package => 16.08.

It is backported for Zesty as we already had most of apps 16.12 for that release.

Backporting apps 16.12 from Zesty 17.04 to 16.04 Xenial is a possibility if time can be found, but can't make firm promises.

Not a big dial but it's nice to know where the issue come from.
