Which version should I install ?

I have a AMD 64 athlon x2 1.8 ghz processor with two gigs of ram. Should I install the AMD64 version or the i386 ?

try a livecd of eather or both hear.

I had to use 8.04 for the install ( couldent get the 9.04cd to boot) and then do a disto upgrade but it's fine now I dont have x86_64 just x86 so .........................

Just installed the 32 bit edition on a coworker home PC. As long as you don't have more than 4GB of RAM I don't see the point of installing 64bit.

Hi, I'm running AMD 1.8 and 4 gig of ram.
I installed the 64 bit 9.04 version. Everything has worked fine. Even my Epson multifuction Printer, but not the scanner part as Epson don't have 64 bit linux drivers for it
