    Size of the police on the logon screen

    Hello,

    I've installed Kubuntu 8.04 on my laptop (the 8.10 release is too heavy for my laptop).

    I've the problem with the size of the character on the log on screen : they are too big !

    Could you tall me which file I have to modify ? Which option, I have to change ?

    Thanks in advance

    Didier

    The file is, I believe, kdmrc, located at /etc/kde4/kdm

    You'll have to edit it "as root" and you want to check in the [X-*-Greeter] section for the entries:
    FailFont=
    and:
    GreetFont=

    My entries show:
    FailFont=Sans Serif,10,-1,5,75,0,0,0,0,0
    GreetFont=Serif,10,-1,5,50,0,0,0,0,0
    Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

      I've tried to modify this file. but I haven't seen effect of the size.

      Do you know the meaning of each figure ?

      I've three lines to configure the fonts : FailFont, GreetFont and StandardFont.

      What is the function of each ?

      Thanks in advance
