Latest Chromium install switched to snap does not honor Plasma mousecursor breeze

I just updated Chromium to Version 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) snap (64-bit) which made the mandatory step from DEB packages via apt to snap installs....

KDE cursor theme [Breeze] Overwriting other cursors

So it's past 2AM and I might be a bit incoherent, but this stupid "Breeze" theme is literally overwriting the majority of all other cursor themes...
