Well, I finally got my first Precise Pangolin desktop installation up to speed. It took me 10 hours to sort through the bugs (yeah, it has as many as every other version) and find workarounds.

However, it's always nice to get a new version running because it gives me a chance to get rid of the deadwood.

For whatever reason, Precise is running much faster for me than Oneiric was, but perhaps it is just becasue I have it tuned better and don't yet have new deadwood.

The two installations are equivalent in functionality, now, so I'm pretty happy with Precise.

Now on to the servers and laptops...
