Sound control applet

How can I change the volume control applet, to an applet from XFCE (xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin)

(I've not tried this myself)

Install it using apt or one of the GUI's like Muon.
This should take care of any dependencies.

You might find a start icon, if not you have to start it via a command.
